Arte deriva do étimo mais antigo – técnica; a Natureza remete para o local de onde tudo brota; a urbe circunscreve-se no perímetro traçado no espaço aberto em redor – o selvagem e urbano entrosam-se.
“Enlaçado nas raízes do ser, a fonte implacável das sensações,” Cézanne precisou de sair do estúdio para sentir as cores no campo. Antes e depois diversas foram as vias dos artistas para tornarem a arte viva; rasparem a crosta da terra; seguiram o trilho; entrarem na gruta, recriando sentidos que conduzem ao desvelamento do que em nós também temos oculto.

Art derives from the oldest ethic – technique; Nature refers to the place from where everything sprouts; the city is circumscribed in the perimeter drawn in the open space around it – the wild and urban come together.
“Linked to the roots of being, the relentless source of sensations,” Cézanne needed to leave the studio to feel the colours in the field. Before and after the artists’ ways of making art alive were diverse; scraping the crust of the earth; following the path; entering the cave, recreating senses that lead to the unveiling of what we also have hidden in us.
